Manufactured in 1961. Red bead front and steel bead mid sights on the three-pin rib, standard barrel markings, and Winchester "WP" proofs on top of the barrel and bottom of the receiver. The underside of the receiver is marked "FEATHERWEIGHT/PIGEON" under the serial number. The receiver is engraved with scenes of ducks on the right and two hunting dogs on the left, with borders of fine scroll. Fancy checkered extension forearm and pistol grip buttstock with a blue steel grip cap, initial oval non-factory inscribed "G/G/F", and checkered hard rubber Winchester buttplate. Stock measurements are: 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 1/2 inch drop at heel; 14 inch length of pull. With box that has had the end label renumbered to match gun.

Excellent overall. 99% original blue/anodized finish remains with some light handling marks, sharp checkering, and a few light dings on the wood. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good as remarked (see above) with handling and storage wear.
