Manufactured in 1940. Single bead sight, 2 3/4 inch chamber, cylinder choke, and standard markings on the barrel and receiver. The right side of the buttstock has been stamped "134" followed by "B/P/D" indicating purchase and use by a police department (writer believes this to be Butte, Montana Police Department due to the original origin of the consignor's estate). Length of pull is 13 1/2 inches.

Good. 70% original thinning blue finish remains with some areas of a brown/plum patina, surface scratches and dings, and areas of edge wear. The wood is good as repaired with a visibly repaired break from the lower sling swivel to the toe, including the buttplate. Otherwise the wood has small dings overall, and some deeper scratches. Mechanically very good.
