Blade front and fixed rear sights, with a decal of the Rampant Colt on the left side, "5" on the crane, serial number on the butt, and no other maker's marks. Checkered grips, with "COLT" cut and then filled in the tops. With a Colt factory letter confirming the prototype status of this revolver.

Very fine, with 95% plus of the original blue finish, showing some light handling marks overall, minor dings on the barrel and frame and discoloration of the blue around the drag line and edge of the side plate. Grips are very fine, with light pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
