Manufactured in 1927. This is a rare Trapper carbine with a rarer 14 inch barrel. It has pinned blade and elevation adjustable sights, standard Winchester markings including the factory oval proof on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech and saddle ring mount on the left side of the receiver. Mounted on a nicely figure smooth walnut forearm and straight grips stock with carbine buttplate. Comes with an un-numbered factory box featuring a correct end label for a 14 inch Model 92 carbine and a September 15, 2017, dated exemption letter from the BATFE.

Excellent. The carbine retains 90% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The wood is also excellent showing limited minor pressure dents. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with a repaired tear, a flap created on a short end, staining and edge wear. Nearly all of the labels remain. A very fine example of a very desirable Model 92 Trapper with 14 inch barrel and box that will look great in any Winchester lever action collection!
