A copy of a letter from Master Engraver John Schultz of Frontier Classics is included detailing some of his career including work for the Colt Custom Shop. The extensive engraving matches other known Schultz engraved revolvers. The revolver appears to have originally been a 1963 Arizona Centennial Commemorative given the serial number and traces of gold in some concealed areas. The barrel has the Colt address on top. The frame has the two-line patent marking in a banner followed by the Rampant Colt trademark in a circle. The trigger guard has the verified proof and a "V" on the left. The loading gate has the assembly number up top and "FC" on the arm (Frontier Classics). The screws and small parts are rich niter blue.

Very fine as master embellished overall with nearly all of the finish, some slight handling and storage marks, very light cylinder drag lines, and some small age cracks on the butt. Mechanically excellent.
