Description:

Starr Arms Company manufactured an estimated total of 58,000 revolvers in the late 1850s and 1860s, and only 3,000 of those were the Navy Model. The only visible markings are the matching serial numbers and a "B" on the trigger guard, and the takedown screws has hand filed grooves on the head. It otherwise has standard features.

Rating Definition:

Very good plus with 30% original bright blue finish, gray and brown patina on the balance, some light oxidation and pitting, and general minor marks and scratches. The grip is very good and has some attractive figure, light dings and scratches, and numerous hammering marks on the butt. The mainspring is a bit light, but it is otherwise mechanically fine.
