Description:

The Model 1819 Hall was the first widely issued military breech loading firearm and the first firearm manufactured with totally interchangeable parts. It has the standard late production (Third Type) markings and features and is dated "1839" on the breech. An unmarked, properly fitting socket bayonet is included.

Rating Definition:

Fine overall with 60% plus original brown lacquer finish, dark original case colors, mild edge wear, scattered minor marks, small spots of light oxidation, and some minor dings and white paint marks visible on the otherwise fine stock. Mechanically excellent.
