It has the standard markings and features, a "19" on the barrel, and is dated "1840" on the barrel tang and "1839" on the lock. A cartouche is visible on left stock flat and top rear buttstock. An early style socket bayonet with out securing ring is included.

Rating Definition:

Good with light pitting and spotting on the otherwise mostly bright metal surfaces, well-aged patina on the brass flash pan, dark brown finish and gray patina on the bayonet, re-oiled stock, a crack at the tail of the lock, sliver absent to the left of the upper tang, and scratches and dings throughout. Mechanically fine
