Description:

Blade front and folding ladder rear sights, with the U.S. marking, model and serial number on the left side of the receiver and a "B" marked rear sight. Smooth straight wrist stock, with a "JLA/1903" cartouche on the left side, script "P" on the underside of the wrist, and a smooth buttplate. A three-piece steel cleaning rod is stored in the buttstock. With a "U.S." marked "1899" dated bayonet, and steel sheath.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. 90% plus original blue and dark oil quenched casehardened finishes remain with some edge wear on the bands, scattered surface spotting, small nicks and dings, and handling marks overall. The stock is also excellent with a sharp cartouche and some scattered small dings. Mechanically excellent. Bayonet is fine with original bright polish blade, handling marks, and a mostly brown patina on the sheath.
