Description:

Measuring 20 inches long, the blade features a 15 1/4 inch cutting edge, slightly wavy hamon and well figured grain. The tang features two mekugi-ana and a squared-off base, with no visible signature and a deeply aged color. With a set of shirasaya furniture. Blade is consignor attributed to 1600-1650.

Rating Definition:

Excluding a small spot of rust on the spine, the blade is in fine condition, with minimum handling marks. The hamon and grain are both strong and well developed. The saya is very fine, with some untranslated ink markings, and the hilt is slightly undersized.
