Manufactured by Remington circa 1914-1915 on contract for the French government. Standard sights. Marked "Remington Mle 1907-15" on the left side of the receiver and "RAC 1907-15" on the right side of the barrel. Smooth straight grip stock with a sling ring on the left side of the forearm, grasping grooves, sling swivel on the underside of the buttstock, and a smooth metal buttplate. With an original Lebel cruciform bayonet, 24 3/4 inches overall with a 20 inch blade, alloy grip and scabbard.

Excellent, with 97% plus of the original blue finish, showing some bright rubbing on the muzzle, magazine and high edges, along with some light spotting and handling marks. The stock is also excellent, with some chipping around the buttplate and some light scratches. The bayonet tip is slightly bent, otherwise very fine. Mechanically excellent.
