Blade and folding ladder sights, with the barrel marked "crown/F.W." and "crown/SPANDAU" on the chamber flats, and the receiver marked "I.G. Mod. 71/84." on the left and "1888." on the right. Matching numbers are present on most of the metal components, including the majority of the individual screws. Smooth straight grip stock, with sling swivels and a flat buttplate.

Very fine, with 80% of the original blue finish, showing a thin line of shallow rust along the edges of the forearm, scattered spotting a few areas of mixed brown and gray patina on the barrel bands and mild handling marks. The stock is fine, with a small gap between the front barrel band and the wood, a few light dings and some white spots on the buttstock. Mechanically excellent.
