The included factory letter confirms the serial number, caliber, barrel length, factory Class B engraving, and an October 26, 1976 date of shipment to Pacific International Merchandising Corp. of Sacramento, Ca. as part of a two gun shipment. Standard fixed blade front and adjustable rear notch sights. The slide markings have been rendered in fine gold inlay with a detailed semi-relief Rampant Colt on the left side. The serial number is similarly gold inlaid. The left side of the grip frame is correctly stamped "COLT ENG." With original box and fitted Colt leatherette display case.

Excellent. 99% original Royal Blue finish remains with sharp engraving, and just a few light handling marks. The grips are as new. Mechanically excellent. Box is fair with some tape repairs, separated flaps, and general storage wear. Case is good with corner and edge wear, small scuffs, and some discoloration.
