Manufactured by FN Herstal of Belgium under military contract from the nation of Venezuela. There were a total of approximately 8,000 of these Venezuelan contract rifles produced in two orders. The top of the receiver is stamped with the "Venezuelan Crest" and the right side of the receiver is marked" "FABRIQUE NATIONALE D' ARMES DE GUERRE_HERSTAL BELGIQUE" followed by serial number, "6384" which is also stamped on the action cover. The left side of the receiver ring has the correct Belgian factory proofs. With a walnut pistol grip stock with a two-piece top handguard. The buttstock has two cartouches, a small circular cartouche is stamped in front of the trigger guard that has the intertwined letters "LR" inside with a second larger circular on the right side of the buttstock that is marked "FUERZAS ARMADAS VENEZUELA". It still retains its original six-slotted flash hider and a ten shot box magazine.

Excellent. 97% plus original black finish remains with handling marks and visible nicks and dings on the receiver cover. The stock is also excellent with crisp markings, numerous scattered dents and dings, and some discoloration on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
