Manufactured in 1956. Dual white bead sights on the two-pin milled ventilated rib with standard barrel markings, 2 3/4 inch chamber, and full choke. Winchester "WP" proofs are on top of the barrel and receiver offset to the left. The receiver is engraved in the factory 12-5 style with tight scroll bordering ducks in a marsh scene on the right, and a pair of hunting dogs flushing a bird on the left. The magazine collar is engraved with a pigeon. The bolt is jewelled, and the lifter is polished. Fancy Fleur De Lis checkered extension forearm and pistol grip Monte Carlo stock with a solid Winchester recoil pad. Stock measurements are: 1 5/8 inch drop at comb; 1 3/4 inch drop at heel; 14 1/4 inch length of pull.

Very fine as professionally embellished and refinished. 98% of the deep polished blue finish remains with some light slide retraction marks on the barrel and magazine tube, slightly soft barrel markings, some small scuffs, and sharp engraving. The wood is also very fine with attractive figure, crisp checkering, and some scattered small dings. Mechanically excellent.
