The aluminum alloy slide is marked with the Walther banner logo, two-line Zella-Mehlis address and patent mark, and model designation on the left side. The rear of the slide is stamped with the partial serial number "8817" over the full serial number on the frame. The right side of the barrel and frame are stamped with Nazi era "eagle/N" proofs. The barrel is fitted with a weight. Fitted with wraparound right hand thumb rest grips and a later production replacement plastic base magazine.

Excellent. 97% plus original blue finish remains with some mild edge wear, small surface scratches throughout, scattered nicks and dings, and cycling marks. The grips are very fine with sharp checkering, and some small dings. Mechanically excellent.
