Fixed sights, with the left side of the slide marked with the Walther banner, two-line address/patent/caliber markings and "Mod PP", and "eagle/N" proofs on the muzzle, chamber hood and slide. Additionally, "R.J." is stamped on the front grip strap. Still shrouded in mystery, the "R.J." marking has been found on a number of Walther pistols and has been attributed to the Reichs Ministry of Justice and the Interior Ministry. Fitted with black "WALTHER" banner grips and a matching colored magazine extension.

Fine, with 60% of the original blue finish, showing bright gray on the right side of the slide, the front strap and along the edges, darker gray on the back strap, areas of spotting and scattered handling marks. The grips are fair, with some cracking of the left panel and large area of flat spots on the right. Mechanically excellent.
