Manufactured in 1936. Hooded ramped beaded blade front sight and the rear sight has been removed and a filler block installed. The rifle is fitted with a Lyman 8 power Targetspot scope with adjustable ring. Standard barrel markings, and Winchester "WP" proofs on the left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The bolt is numbered to the gun. The floor plate is stamped "-SUPER GRADE-". Mounted with a one-piece multi-point checkered walnut pistol grip stock with ebony forend, hard rubber Winchester grip cap, raised cheekpiece, and checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine with 80% plus original blue finish remaining, with finish loss limited to the floor plate and trigger guard. The floor plate has a smooth mottled brown patina with traces of original blue and the trigger guard is a mix of smooth mottled brown patina and original blue finish. The stock shows only a few minor dings and pressured dents, and sharp checkering. The markings are sharp and clear. The action is fine. The scope is excellent showing some minor wear from adjusting the position and the optics are clear.
