Manufactured in 1949. Hooded ramp front sight, flip up notch rear sight, swivel style scope bases with a Leupold VX-1 3-9x40 scope, standard barrel markings, and Winchester "WP" proofs on the left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The bolt is numbered to the gun, and the floorplate is stamped "-SUPER GRADE-". Fancy checkered stock with black forend cap, Winchester hard rubber grip cap, and checkered steel buttplate.

Fine. 85% original blue finish remains with areas of edge wear on the refinished floorplate and trigger guard, some light surface scratches, and handling marks on the bolt handle. The wood is fine as refinished with crisp checkering, freshened varnish finish, and scattered small dings overall. Mechanically excellent. Scope is excellent.
