Manufactured in 1940. There is a red bead front sight and a white mid-bead sight on the solid rib. The barrel is choked full and has a 2 3/4 inch chamber. "TRAP" is stamped below the serial number on the bottom of the receiver. Mounted on a nicely figured, diamond pattern checkered extended walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with contrasting inlaid diamonds on each side of the wrist, a hard rubber grip cap and a red rubber Winchester recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 3/8 inches.

Excellent, 90% plus of the original blue finish remains with some scattered dings, scratches, cycling and high edge wear along with flaking on the right side of the receiver with a brown patina. The wood is very good with scattered dings, dents, grain separations and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
