The left rear barrel is marked "MODEL 21- WINCHESTER/-TRADE MARK- - 20 GAUGE 3 IN", the bottoms of the barrels are Winchester proof steel marked, chokes marked "FULL/MOD." with the matching serial number and two Winchester oval proofs on the barrel flat. The water table is marked with a Winchester proof, the three-line patent marking on the right, and the three-line model and address legend on the left. All blue finish, single trigger with selector, tang mounted manual safety with gold "SAFE" and mounted with a kidney pattern checkered beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock with a checkered hard rubber Winchester buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter .614/.614 inch; minimum wall thickness .027/.023 inch; drop at heel 2 3/8 inches; drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; length of pull 13 15/16 inches; cast on 3/16 inches. With a leather bound Winchester takedown case, two nickel snap caps, and nickel oil bottle.

Very fine. 99% refurbished blue finish remains with some small dings along the rib edge, and light marks on the water table and breech face. The wood is very fine as revarnished with the serial numbers on the forearm appearing slightly light and finished over. The checkering is sharp, and there are just a few small dings on the buttstock. Mechanically excellent. Case is very good with some light storage marks and scuffs on the exterior.
