Red bead front and steel bead mid sights on the Simmons vent rib with standard barrel markings, 2 1/2 inch chamber, "SKEET" marked choke, and Winchester "WP" proof on the barrel, offset for the rib. With matching serial numbers on the receiver and takedown collar, "DELUXE" stamped under the serial number on the receiver, and an engraved pigeon on the collar. The receiver features full panel hunting scene engraving of two dogs flushing snipes on the right and two dogs stalking a pheasant on the left. The scenes feature detailed backgrounds and borders of fine American scroll and punch dot engraving. The bolt and lifter are jewelled, and the trigger is gold washed. Fancy deluxe checkered extension forearm and pistol grip buttstock with a Winchester hard rubber grip cap and checkered Winchester hard rubber buttplate. The stock measurements are: 1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 2 1/8 inch drop at heel; 14 1/4 inch length of pull.

Very fine as professionally embellished and refinished. 95% of the refurbished blue finish remains with soft barrel markings, slide retraction wear on the barrel, and lines on top of the barrel where it appears a solid rib had been milled off to install the current Simmons vent rib. The engraving is sharp and detailed. The wood is fine with sharp checkering, scattered small dings, and some visible damage on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
