Manufactured in 1942, this pistol bears a number of markings from the Proof House at Birmingham, suggesting that it was among the armament supplied to Great Britain under Lend-Lease. Fixed sights, with the two-line slide address, tonnage marks on the chamber, additional proofs on the slide and beneath the "U.S. PROPERTY" mark on the frame and a pair of checkered Colt medallion grips. The Colt magazine is finished in full blue. This British Proofed U.S. 1903 Pistol is sequentially numbered to the previous lot.

Excellent, with 98% plus original parkerized finish, showing mild handling marks and edge wear. Traces of old storage grease are present multiple components, with an especially thick layer around the medallion on the left grip panel. The grips are also excellent, with some dings and minor flat spots. Mechanically excellent.
