Manufactured in 1936, the second year of production. It has standard early Winchester markings with "-SUPER GRADE-" on the floor plate and factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver, hooded ramp front sight, filler block in the rear sight slot, Lyman receiver sight, pre-war safety, cloverleaf receiver tang, polished bolt numbered to gun and Super Grade stock with sling swivel bases, hard rubber factory grip cap and checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine as professionally refinished. The rifle retains 95% plus of the blue finish showing thinning to a brown (mostly on the buttplate) and some minor handling marks (mostly on the floor plate). The stock is excellent showing some scattered minor handling marks, crisp checkering overall and retaining most of the finish. Mechanically excellent.
