Originally a Mossberg Model 500A, modified by Mt. Washington of Madison, New Hampshire into a "stakeout" pistol grip configuration; as it was not manufactured "to be fired from the shoulder" per ATF definitions of a Short Barreled Shotgun, it qualified as an "Any Other Weapon". Single bead sight, with a trench gun style heat shield, cylinder choke, 3 inch chamber, ribbed forearm and a checkered pistol grip.

Very fine as upgraded, with 90% of the black finish, showing light cycling wear on the magazine tube and action bars, as well as some light handling marks overall. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is registered as a National Firearms Act (NFA), AOW (Any Other Weapon). Although NOT a fully automatic weapon it is still controlled like a NFA weapon that is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
