Made in Germany for the Santa Fe Division of Golden State Arms, these early G3 rifles were only imported for one year as part of H&Ks initial push into the American market. Hooded post front sight, with a four-position drum rear sight. The left side of the magazine well bears the H&K model marking, serial number and "11/62" date, with the left side of the trigger group bearing Golden State's markings and "S/ E" marked selector positions. Ribbed and ventilated forearm, with a smooth plastic pistol grip, and fixed buttstock. Magazine absent.

Excellent. 97% plus original parkerized finish remains with some small surface scratches and scuffs, handling marks, and some light wear on the scope mounting points. The stock and handguard set are also excellent with a few small scattered dings. Mechanically excellent.
