Imported in the late 60s and early 70s, the G Series FAL was first approved for import by the ATF, then declared a machine gun by the ATF, and finally banned from import, with the ones already in the country being given a pass. Post front and military tangent peep sights, with a long flash hider/bayonet lug, and an adjustable gas port with grenade setting. The upper receiver bears the one-line Herstal address and "F.A.L. cal.308". The serial number is on the underside ahead of the magazine well. The lower receiver is marked "S/R/A", with a pin inserted to lock out the "A" spot. With a ventilated synthetic handguard, smooth grip, and smooth buttstock with a stamped serrated buttplate. The rifle includes a receiver cover fitted with a Hensoldt 4x24 scope in a G1 style strap mount. The scope includes a canvas covered scope can, extra standard receiver cover, and screwdriver. Three extra magazines are also included.

Excellent. 95% plus original black finish remains with small handling marks throughout, and a bright line under the safety switch. The handguard, grip, and buttstock are also excellent with a few small scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent. The scope is very good with some handling marks, with some very light specs inside. Scope case is also very good.
