Produced by John Martz of Lincoln, California, best known for his reconstruction of Luger and P-38 pistols to accommodate more powerful cartridges, such as this example in 38 Super. Blade front and notch rear sights, with an unmarked slide, "38 SUPER" over "JVM" and "P.2" on the right side of the frame, "8777" marked barrel and blued locking block. An "eagle/359" proof is present on the slide catch, with a pair of checkered black plastic grip. With two "JVM" magazines, numbered "1" (with round counting holes) and "2" (sans holes), as well as a hardwood case with a French-cut interior and blue velvet lining, and a hardwood and a "JVM" marked bright steel and hardwood display stand.

Excellent as custom, with 98% fine bright finish, showing some light handling marks and spotting overall. The grips are excellent, with a few light handling marks. The slide is a bit stiff, otherwise mechanically excellent.
