This revolver appears to be built on a modern black powder style Colt SAA frame manufactured by Uberti, marked with Colt style markings and embellished by a master engraver who signed the front of the frame with initials that appear to be "MVS." At the time of this writing, the engraver remained unidentified. The engraving mostly consists of floral scrollwork on a punch dot background with coverage about 70%. Other type of engraved motifs include zig-zag lines, cross hatching and star bursts.

Extremely fine as embellished by a master engraver. There is a cylinder drag line and some light handling marks. The grip is near new showing the slightest handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
