Rating Definition:

Good as partially refinished, the barrels which retain 90% blue finish with scattered minor oxidation. Most of the original bright finish remains on the trigger guard and break lever. The action retains 60% of the somewhat faded original case colors with a silver gray patina on the balance and overall light oxidation. The wood is good with an absent insert in the grip, and overall scattered minor dents, dings and scratches. The checkering is crisp. The markings and engraving are clear. Mechanically excellent. The case is fair with a side panel on the lid absent, some loss of the leather trim, corners separated on the other side panel, and overall scattered scuffs, scrapes and staining.
