Manufactured in 1926, this is one of only about 25,000 Model 53s Winchester produced. It has beaded blade Marble Sheard front, non-factory replacement adjustable folding leaf rear and tang sights, a barrel marked with the Winchester legend on the left side and two-line address on the right side, Winchester factory oval proof on the barrel and receiver and straight grip stock with serrated steel buttplate.
