This is a deluxe variation of the Remington Model 14 slide action rifle in desirable .25 Remington, the rarest caliber encountered in the Model 14 production run. Equipped with Lyman beaded blade front and fully adjustable receiver mounted peep sights. A filler block is in the rear sight dovetails on the barrel. It also has standard Remington markings and checkered deluxe walnut slide handle and pistol grip buttstock with a Remington-UMC crescent steel buttplate and a Remington hard rubber grip cap.

Fine. 80% original blue finish remains with slide retraction marks, numerous scratches and nicks throughout, and a mottled gray/brown patina on the steel buttplate. The wood is good with numerous small dings and bruises, and scattered scratches and some small chips. Mechanically excellent.
