FRANDSEN" and "VEJLE" on the left and right respectively. The shotgun barrel is twist Damascus, and the rifled barrel is fluid steel. The elaborately engraved receiver and lock plates feature broad leafy scroll with sculpted fences, and game scenes on the locks with deer and boar on the right, and birds on the left. With a checkered forearm and semi-pistol grip buttstock with tear drop flats, raised cheekpiece, and an engraved smooth steel buttplate. The barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .664 inch; minimum wall thickness .026 inch; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 13 1/4 inches.

Rating Definition:

Good. The barrels have an overall brown patina with visible Damascus pattern on the shotgun barrel, areas of pitting, small dings, and light markings. The receiver and locks have a mostly silver-gray patina with some darker spotting, sharp engraving, and some small dings. The wood is good as refinished with numerous small sanding lines, rounded edges, and small dents and bruises throughout and wood fill in the toe. Mechanically excellent.
