This is a very good example of a WWII German K43 rifle produced by Berlin-Lubecker firm in 1944 that is fitted with a WWII ZF4 sniper scope and non-matching mount. This was the standard G/K43 type semi-automatic rifle used throughout WWII. The receiver is stamped "9346/G43/duv44, followed by a single "eagle/214" proof" The bolt carrier has the latch on the right side and the hollow cocking knob on the left side. It has the military style front blade and the military tangent rear sight graduated form 100-2000 meters. It is fitted with the late-war pattern laminate stock and red plastic handguard. The buttstock has a faint double "eagle/214 Waffenamt" proof on the right side of the stock with a single very small "214" Waffenamt proof in the pistol grip area. The serial number "9436" is faintly stamped on the underside of the stock. It is fitted with a WWII ZF4 sniper scope and mount. The scope is mid-war version that has the matte blued type finish that is marked on the right side "Gw Z F 4/31378/ddx" and the mount has an all blued finish that is stamped with a "eagle/359" Waffenamt proof. The locking lever is correctly marked "fest" and "lose". The mount has a very faint, unreadable 4 or 5 digit serial number towards the front end. The rifle is complete with an unmarked smooth brown leather sling and a blackened aye code "K43" marked magazine, original cleaning rod and front sight cover.

Very fine with 85% plus of the phosphate/blue finish on the metal parts overall with edge and high spot wear with light thinning on top of the bolt and action cover, the trigger guard bow and exposed barrel. The stock and handguard are both in fine condition overall with the stock having been sanded leaving a honey colored oil finish with faint but visible stock markings. The scope and mount are both in very fine condition with 95% of their blued finish overall, with wear on the edges and high spots overall with clear optics.
