Description:

Manufactured in 1942 during the German Occupation of Czechoslovakia for issue to the German Gebirgsjaeger mountain troopers. Hooded blade front and tangent rear sights, with "eagle/63" and "eagle/swastika" stamps on the "dot/1942" marked receiver and a matching-numbered bolt handle. The stock is the laminated style with the signature steel extension on the left side of the buttstock. With leather sling.

Rating Definition:

Very fine with 75% plus of the original blue finish, showing some dings on the barrel around the front band, areas of brown patina, and mild edge wear and handling marks overall. The stock is also very fine with a few scratches and dents along with some spotting on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
