Blade front and tangent rear sights, with "42/1939" on top of the receiver ring and three "eagle/655" proofs on the right, which are repeated on multiple components, and "eagle/63" proofs on the rear sight base. Milled components, with matching numbers overall. The smooth pistol grip stock is matching with the forearm matching numbered on the underside, with a "H" Heer (Army) stamp on the right side, "eagle/WaA655" proofs, and a flat steel buttplate. With a Clemen & Jung bayonet, 15 inches overall, 9 3/4 inch blade, dark brown bakelite grips and a "S/245" "1936" marked matching number sheath. Missing the cleaning rod.

Fine, with 75% of the original blue finish, showing a mixed brown and gray patina on the barrel bands, bayonet lug, and trigger guard assembly, some bright edge wear and scattered light handling marks. The stock is very good as lightly sanded and refinished, with fine grain and some light dings. The bayonet is very fine, with 85% original blue, and some shallow pitting concentrated on the sheath and hilt. Mechanically excellent.
