Manufactured by Erma of Munich these conversion kits allow a standard K98 rifle to be rapidly reconfigured to a .22 caliber repeater for inexpensive training. One simply removes the original bolt and floor plate, inserts the Erma receiver/barrel sleeve assembly into the 98k receiver, and installs the included magazine well. The receiver is "WaA132" proofed, with a matching numbered bolt and floor plate, two "WaA132" proofed magazines, an "eagle/88" cleaning rod guide, and a small installation tool. All of the mentioned components fit into the included hardwood case, which is hand-marked (painted numbers/letters) on both the interior and exterior of the lid, also marked to a 98k rifle numbered "303" (not included).

Excellent, with 90% plus original blue finish, showing a few hints of gray patina and mild handling marks overall. The bore sleeve shows some mild wear, and a fine bright appearance overall. A chip is present in the adjustment collar next to one of the tool slots, with a few cracks in the same region. The case is very fine, with some mild stains and scuffs. The kit has not been test installed, but it appears to be in mechanically fine condition.
