Description:

Blade front and 1,000-meter tangent rear sights, with the three-line address on the top chamber flat, "crown/crown/U" on the chamber and bolt, and the two-line address on the right side of the frame. Beneath the frame address is a boxed "SA" stamp; a large number of Broomhandles were funneled to the successful "white" faction of the Finnish Civil War and retained by the Finnish Army afterwards. The Broomhandles were used between the World Wars and were eventually relegated to reserve/home guard duty. External numbers are matching overall with a New Safety hammer, slotted back strap, and 31-groove grips.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 70% of the blue finish, showing areas of brown patina, bright edge wear and scattered handling marks. The back strap appears to have been polished and is showing a gray patina. 40% of the niter blue finish is present on the small parts, with the bolt and hammer showing a mixed gray with shallow pitting. The grips are very good, with some dents and verdigris. Mechanically excellent.
