Description:

This is an example of a scarce early production DWM Model 1900 Swiss Luger with rare unrelieved frame. Fixed sights, with the "Swiss Cross in sunburst" on the chamber, a flat-topped breechblock, toggle lock, and a set of German "crown" proofs on the major components. Small parts are straw finished, with a "flat" safety switch, thin trigger and grip safety, bright lower safety position, checkered grips, and a nickel finished magazine with the follower button crudely modified to flat style for unrelieved frame and an unmarked hardwood base. Minus the magazine, numbers match. A set of import marks are present in the magazine base cutouts.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as arsenal refinished, with 95% plus blue overall, showing some light handling marks and edge wear overall. 70% colors are present on the small parts, and particularly bright in the protected areas, and the grips show mild dings and dark spots. Mechanically excellent. This pistol would benefit from an addition of a correct magazine!
