Manufactured during the inter-war Weimar era for export to the American market. Fixed sights, no date marking on top of the chamber and the "DWM" monogram on the front toggle link. Matching external "civilian pattern" serial numbers, with appropriate "crown/N" proofs, "GERMANY" on the front of the frame and "LOADED" and "SAFE" marked extractor and safety position. Fitted with straw colored small parts, niter blue pins, springs and screws, checkered grips and a nickel finished magazine with an unmarked wood base.

Fine as period refinished, with 95% plus blue, showing some mild sub-finish spotting, a few small patches of shallow pitting, mild edge wear and scattered handling marks. 50% of the straw color is present on the small parts, and the grips are slightly undersized but sharply checkered. Mechanically excellent.
