Manufactured in 1942. With a "R.A./flaming bomb/11-41" marked barrel, standard receiver markings, "R" marked milled barrel bands, M1905 adjustable ladder rear sight with "R" marked base, "40/BF" marking on top of the bolt handle, "R" marked bolt shroud, and a milled trigger guard and floor plate. With an un-marked scant style buttstock and stamped checkered trapdoor buttplate.

Fine as refinished with 50% of the thinning dark parkerized finish remaining, handling and cycling marks on the bolt, surface scratches, some edge wear, and some dark age spotting. The replacement stock is also fine with scattered dings, low wood line around the receiver magazine, and some visible gaps. Mechanically excellent.

Manufactured in 1942 with an "R.A./flaming bomb/5-43" marked barrel. Standard blade front and late style stamped adjustable rear sights, stamped trigger guard, stamped barrel bands and standard markings on the receiver ring. The stock is the straight grip "scant" style without grasping grooves. The left side of the wrist is stamped with a boxed "FJA" inspection mark followed by the Ordnance Department "crossed cannons" stamp with a circled "P" behind the trigger guard, and various sub-inspector stamps ahead of the floor plate. With a flat checkered trapdoor buttplate.

Very fine as arsenal refurbished with 95% plus dark post-war arsenal parkerized finish remaining, scattered small dings, and handling marks mostly on the bolt handle. The replacement stock is also very fine with some small chips around the front of the floor plate, and some scattered dings throughout. Mechanically excellent.
