Manufactured in August of 1943 and later arsenal upgraded to M1D Sniper configuration. "NM/062" blade front and peep rear sights, with "NHC" and "BS" drums, a conical M2 flash hider, and a Springfield "1-52" barrel with integral scope base. The scope is marked "TELESCOPE/M84/SERIAL NO.29253" on the data plate with a sliding metal sunshield. Internal components include a Springfield bolt, hammer and operating rod, and an International Harvester trigger housing. Smooth pistol grip stock, with an uncircled "P" on the underside of the wrist, "MRT/2-52" cheekpiece (not screwed to stock), green canvas sling and a checkered steel buttplate with tools. Also includes a copy of a Scott Duff Publications data sheet numbered to the rifle.

Near mint as arsenal refurbished/upgraded, with 98% plus parkerized finish, with some scratches on the barrel and scattered mild handling marks and spotting. A few components have been numbered or marked with yellow paint. The rubber eyepiece is damaged but included. The stock is fine with verdigris buildup around the grommets and mild dings. Some dark spots are visible on the optics, which are otherwise crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent.
