A) U.S. Inland M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine

Description:

The Inland barrel is dated "1-45". Fitted with an "R" marked fixed blade front and "IH" marked milled adjustable rear sights. The carbine has combination of late and early production features including the type 3 barrel band/bayonet lug, four-rivet handguard, "M" marked magazine catch, round top bolt, and unmarked push button style safety. The low wood stock is marked with a "crossed cannons" stamp on the right side, and "IO" in the sling recess. Includes two M2 pattern extended magazines.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. 90% original parkerized finish remains with some edge and cycling wear on the receiver, small scattered surface scratches, and clear markings. The stock is fine with small indentations throughout, and some larger chips near the toe. Mechanically excellent.

Undated Marlin barrel with a stamped/brazed "SN" marked front sight, "N-A" marked fixed two leaf rear peep sight, narrow type 1 barrel band, unmarked push button safety, and flat top bolt. Low wood stock with two-rivet handguard, oval cut oiler slot, boxed "NPM/FJA" inspection cartouche, and Ordnance "crossed cannons" stamp on the right side. With a brown canvas web sling and extra magazine.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as restored. 95% parkerized finish remains with some light edge wear, sharp markings, and some scattered small dings. The stock and handguard set are fine with small dings and light chips throughout, and clear inspection marks. Mechanically excellent.
