Description:

Measuring 6 inches overall, this push knife is fitted with a 3 1/4 inch long double edged spear point blade, with a thin round shank and "114" in white paint on one side. The handle is smooth one-piece rosewood, lightly curved with the tang visible through the back and secured with a brass spanner nut. The sheath is of brown leather construction with a German silver throat and button stud. Attributed by the consignor to New Orleans.

Rating Definition:

Very good plus. The fine blade is bright overall with areas of gray patina, a few minor edge chips, and a darker tone to the shank. The grip shows a few light dings and scuffs. The sheath is about good, with an absent tip, cracking of the leather and dark areas on the throat.
