These revolvers were manufactured by W. W. Marston in the late 1850s and the early 1860s. Several other names are known to appear on them. This one is marked "WESTERN ARMS CO. N. Y." on top of barrel. There is an "O" below the serial number on the frame and the loading lever.

Very fine with 50% original blue finish (strongest on the cylinder), smooth light brown patina on most of the balance, some light spotting, and mild wear. The grips are very fine with minor edge wear and a few scratches. Mechanically excellent.
