Manufactured c. 1866-1875. Features "44 CAL" and "100 GRS" on the muzzle, Lyman globe front sight, spirit level near the breech, long range Vernier peep sight fitted on the wrist, "62/534" on the bottom of the barrel and front of the frame at the breech, "81" on the lock and front of the lever plate, checkered forearm with steel nose cap, and checkered stock with rifle buttplate.

Very fine with 90% plus blue finish, 70% original case colors, replacement sights, fine wood, slight gaps where the wood fits up to the action, some wood glue repairs visible on the inside of the forearm, crisp checkering, and light scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent.
