ILION, N.Y." on top and"45 Govt" on the bottom ahead of the matching numbered forearm, the matching serial number along with "FW VB SB" and "P" on the bottom of the barrel under the forearm, single peep sight mounting screw on the top of the comb, and highly flame figure fancy grade walnut stock and forearm with multi-point checkering patterns, contrasting nose cap, and steel shotgun buttplate.

Very fine overall as professionally refinished with 98% blue and casehardened finish and minor wear, including some light scratches, minor scuffs on the otherwise crisp checkering, and minor handling and storage type marks. Mechanically excellent.
