Manufactured in 1899. The barrel has an aftermarket front sight, "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .32-20" marked on the left side and the one-line address marked on top. The left side of the frame is marked with the two-line patent dates and circled Rampant Colt. Matching serial numbers on the frame, trigger guard, back strap and cylinder (698). The right side of the grip has a relief carved steer head. Comes with a floral tooled leather holster rig.

Very good. The later production replacement barrel and ejector rod housing retain 70% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. A non-factory dovetailed rifle sight has been fitted to barrel. The remaining metal surfaces have a smooth brown-gray patina with traces of original blue finish and faded case colors in the protected areas. There is an area of minor pitting on the cylinder. The slightly shrunken grips are fine with typical age cracking on the bottoms and some minor handling evidence. The carving is crisp. The action needs adjustment. The holster rig is fine showing some minor flex wear and some minor handling marks.
