Original antique ammunition boxes, especially full ones, are very hard to find and are excellent addition to antique arms collections both as interesting artifacts in their own right and as period correct display pieces. The box has an image of a Colt Model 1878 revolver on the upper label and has the orange side labels. The label notes the ammunition is "FOR/COLT'S DOUBLE ACTION AND SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVERS." The box is full.

Very fine overall with mild storage wear including some slight flaking.
