Manufactured c. 1850 in Liege by M.J. Chaumont. Features screw-off Damascus barrels numbered 1 through 5, scroll engraving, "M-J-CHAUMONT FABT A LIEGE" in gold inlay on top, grooved grips, and no visible proofmarks. It comes in a French fitted case with small powder flask, bullet mold, cap "barrel," and lidded compartment.

Fine overall with bright original gold inlay, vibrant niter blue on the hammer, gray and brown patina on the balance, oxidation concentrated at the breech, and chipping along the rear edge of the right grip. The case is very good with mild storage wear on the refinished exterior and loose interior. Mechanically fine.
